Welcome

Celebrating Over 80 Years Of Service!

The American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy (AAOA) represents over 2,700 Board-certified otolaryngologists and health care providers. Otolaryngology, frequently referred to as Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT), uniquely combines medical and surgical expertise to care for patients with a variety of conditions affecting the ears, nose, and throat, as well as commonly related conditions. AAOA members devote part of their practice to the diagnosis and treatment of allergic disease. The AAOA actively supports its membership through education, research, and advocacy in the care of allergic patients.

"Advance the comprehensive management of allergy and inflammatory disease in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery through training, education, and advocacy."

AMA Credit Designation Statement

The American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy designates this live activity for a maximum of 7.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

ABOHNS Continuing Certification Recognition Statement

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn their required annual part II self-assessment credit in the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery’s Continuing Certification program (CC, formerly known as MOC). It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of recognizing participation.

In order to claim ABOHNS Continuing Certification credits, you must be fully certified by the ABOHNS. You are considered fully certified once you have taken both the written and oral exams and successfully passed both.

Only physicians may be awarded AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Non-physician health professionals and other participants may not be awarded AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™; however, a transcript serves as documentation of participation to non-physicians and for self-submission to satisfy the CME credit requirement, if applicable.

For non-physicians looking to fulfill the AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ requirement and  self-submit, you can send your transcript and proof of the AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ statement on the AAOA activity page.

For more information, please contact the accrediting body for which you would be submitting CME credits to or email [email protected].
