AAOA Annual Meeting 2017
Resident Opportunities
Enhancing Resident Education
In an effort to enhance resident education on the role of allergy diagnosis and management within otolaryngology, the AAOA is offering Resident Travel Grant awards for the AAOA Annual Meeting.
Designed to assist AAOA resident members with course costs, the AAOA is offering a stipend that includes a monetary award to help cover some of the travel and accommodations costs. In order to be eligible for the Resident Travel Grant, a resident must:
* Be a member of the AAOA. Click here to learn more about becoming a member.
* Submit a letter expressing interest in the AAOA and its programs and why you should receive a travel grant.
* Provide a letter of recommendation on department letterhead from your Program Director.
The required paperwork must be submitted to the AAOA by June 1, 2017 in order to be considered. Please send the required paperwork to:
AAOA
Attn: Resident Travel Grant (Annual)
11130 Sunrise Valley Dr.
Suite #100
Reston, VA 20191
You can also e-mail the required paperwork to membership@aaoaf.org.
In an effort to maximize the number of individuals receiving awards, priority will be given to residents who have not previously been awarded a travel grant. Due to overwhelming interest, the AAOA cannot guarantee every applicant will receive a travel grant.
